MBN moving hosts Tuesday, 9th of Februari
By elmuerte at 2016-02-08 21:56
Tomorrow I will move the MBN to a new host, which means that it will be down for a while.

The move is going to start around 18:00 CET. After moving the latest files and restoring the database backup I will chance the DNS which can take up to an hour to propagate.
It should be a fairly simple task, so I do not think it will take a very long time.

Edit: Move complete. If you encounter any problems, please report them in this thread.

LBA 1 and 2 on sale at Steam!
By Darkflame at 2015-10-21 13:19
LBA 1 (enhanced tablet version) and LBA2 (DosBoxed version) are now for sale on Steam!

LBA1 - Enhanced Edition is up for 5,99€ / 5.99USD
LBA2 - for 3,99€/3.99USD

Or both in a bundle for 7,99€/7.99USD

The description for the Enhanced LBA1 edition is as follows;

It should be noted that it can be controlled either a controller or mouse but not the traditional keyboard controls. Players wishing for the original control's can still buy the normal version on GoG.com however.
Even if you have a few copies of these classics already, all LBA fans should check out the Steam page and review/upvote for the games. Steam is a massive platform and getting LBA in front of more eyeballs can do nothing but help the chance for a 3rd game to get funded.

DotEmu has just posted that people buying the Enhanced Edition now get the old version free too.

If you pay $6 or more, you'll get all of the above plus Homeland (audiobook), FarSky, and Strike Vector. 100% of the proceeds go towards charity.

Or if you cant affort it, you can help us promote it;

2Dark - Adeline/Fred/Yael/Didier everybody is back!

Donate for 2Dark - http://www.ulule.com/2dark/

2Dark, to-be-released October/November 2015.

It looks like a lot of (not-child-murdering) fun! It's a score-based survival horror when a unique voxel-based look and some sick murderers. Oh and the main character, Smith, look a little like Fred himself, which is amusing.

http://www.ulule.com/2dark/ Perhaps we should throw tons of money at it so it gets made?

Little Big Adventure mobile version review
By elmuerte at 2014-03-26 23:01
The people from DotEmu were kind enough to provide me with a review copy of the now available mobile version of Little Big Adventure. LBA is available for both Android (Google Play, Amazon Appstore) and iOS. This review is based on the iOS version which I played on an iPhone 5. Given the fact that this site is dedicated to LBA I will not go into reviewing the game design, we already know it is an excellent game. This review will only discuss the differences between the original game, and the mobile version.

Little Big Adventure will come to iOS and Android on March 27
By elmuerte at 2014-03-12 19:18
In about 2 weeks time the Little Big Adventure will return on your mobile phone, if you've got an Android or iOS mobile phone. It has been made possible by DotEmu.

There is also a preview of actual ingame footage available. It will show you how the gameplay has been adjusted for a touch interface.
